The International Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Fatima will visit the Philippines from January 28 to February 21, 2009. This is the authentic pilgrim image of Our Lady of Fatima approved by Sr. Lucia (one of the 3 visionaries of Our Lady of Fatima) to be used as the pilgrim statue. It has journeyed all over the world since 1947.

To prepare us for this important visit, CFC-FFL presents this series. Let us continue to put Mary in the heart of our community life. It is a special privilege to have Our Lady visit us.

The expose’ of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte on television last Saturday, January 31, where he waved an alleged marriage certificate of a local Catholic priest and a woman, vowing to bare more names of priests in amorous relations, in an admitted retribution for a slur on him and his family and the priest’s refusal to have his parish assist in the distribution of city government-funded Yuletide gifts to poor families.

Digos Internet Scandal

Internet Cafes and online gaming has triumphantly made its way to the hearts of the young kids in Digos City. You'll a lot of student not in school but in cafes enjoying Warcraft, Dota, War Rock, RAN, Gun Bound, Counter strike, Crazy cart and more.

Though the city government has already given legislations regarding the internet cafes policies in not letting students ply during prescribed hours, still it could not be helped.

Personally I would have to say that it is the parent's concern in keeping their kids on track and not the government and the establishment's sole responsibility.

"If only school was as fun as online games" true school sometimes is boring. I think teachers and school administrators should make school life fun and interesting to win over this internet scandal.

I do hope that we would not see more uniformed kids and even kids that are out of school inside internet cafes during school hours.. their just spoilig the allowance and tuition fee.

We will try t get the Mayor's side in this issue.

Constatntly bombarded by political issues, the vice mayor never forgets to stand back and pray to the king above and asks for guidance. He will always be remembered for his positive attributes and never will he be forgotten in the hearts of the Digosenos.

This weeks Digoseno feature is on Christian F. Robles, He is the Administrator of this site and also the CEO of Mindanao youth Circle.
Offers his time to serve the community, the young servant has strive to put up an organization that will not only be known for its name but for the deeds it has done. He is a 20 Year old boy who has suffered a lot in his childhood years, though coming from a broken family, his foster family never the less filled in the emptiness that was left by his biological parents. He went through a lot of trials in his life even to the point of getting in conflict with the law and suffering the consequences.
His Dark Past had become his inspiration in serving the youth in the present days.
"Di ko makakaya na makakita ng bata na alam ko patungo sa landas na minsan kong tinahak, naniniwala ako na may mas magandang paraan upang matutu, di na nila kailangan danasin and naranasan ko."

Till today He is still striving to live up to his dream to put an end to the youths suffering. The MINDANAO YOUTH CIRCLE INC. is going to celebrate its 5th Year anniversary during His 21st Birthday on March 15. 2009.

Well he might not be the perfect person to set as an example but he has the making of a good leader.
